Privacy policy
Last updated October 18, 2026
This policy explains what personal information DocketDecoder collects, why, and who it's shared with. DocketDecoder is based at 6421 N. Florida Ave, Ste D, Tampa, FL 33604.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and company, when you subscribe or contact us.
- Phone number: only if you opt in to text message alerts.
- Payment details: handled by Stripe. We receive the last four digits of your card, its expiry date and your billing address, never the full card number.
- Usage: whether issues are opened and which links are clicked, measured by our newsletter provider.
How we use it
- To send the newsletter, alerts and reports you've paid for.
- To bill you, send receipts and handle refunds.
- To answer your questions and improve the newsletter.
We don't sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share only what each service needs to do its job:
- Stripe, for payments.
- Beehiiv, for sending the newsletter.
- Twilio, for sending text message alerts.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Text messages
Your mobile number and text message opt-in are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing. They are used only to send the alerts you asked for. Reply STOP to any alert to opt out.
Cookies
This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe's checkout pages and our newsletter provider may set cookies needed for payments, security and sign-in.
Personal details in public records
Filings sometimes include personal details such as phone numbers, home addresses or signatures. DocketDecoder removes these before anything is published. Business names, applicants of record and parcel addresses may appear, because they are part of the public record being reported.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while you subscribe and for as long as tax and accounting rules require after that. You can ask us to delete your information at any time; we'll keep only what the law requires.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom, stop texts by replying STOP, and ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing info@docketdecoder.com.
Children
DocketDecoder is a business service and isn't directed at anyone under 18.
